Sheda Vasseghi (pronounced Sheeda) picked up a paintbrush for the first time at the age of 30. Within a year, she had painted over 20 canvases most of which were gifts to friends and family. She believes she's a painter for others and defines art as the physical aspect of one's soul. Sheda can only paint when she knows it's for someone else. Her paintings are gifts to others -- a snapshot of or a peek into their souls.. Her inspiration in colors and style comes from Monet, one of the greatest impressionists of all times. She and her family live in Virginia.
